Found out a few days ago that Holland will be absorbing YRC Freight at the Winston Salem 671 Terminal. One problem is that YRC is a classified barn with 4 boards. We have people with out any CDL. Once the COO is posted after the meetings I will put it here.

Re: March 2021 COO at the Winston Salem 671 terminal
I was reading on another forum that New Penn Scranton was moving to Dorrence Pa.. I kinda remember when Red star opened that terminal in Dorrence, closed Binghamton and it kind of became a shit show.. I don't think this would work out too either but only the college educated transportation engineers know for sure..
I think YRC is gonna soon be under one name..Merging the men will be the problem..Different locals with different rules..

T believe the Holland work rules you speak off pertained to the road board.. Most of the locals had a two or three day out and return home.. Holland I believe could keep you out all month if they needed too.. That is why they opened a road terminal in Erie PA just across the border from New York because they didn't want any part of the work rules enjoyed by New York and New England Teamsters..

Holland in GBO has 2 boards, local cartage and road, YRC at the same terminal has 4 boards, road, P&D, Dock and Switchers. We have non CDL people and Holland dont. I am not sure how they are going to merge that mess.
Hollands #1 man is like in the high 20's on the merged list.

We all know that strike failed and the Teamsters offered to unconditionally call off the strike and return to work. At that time USF was in secret negotiations with YRC and YRC already had New Penn. The strike gave USF the opportunity to shut Red Star down.
Crazy would know more about that since I believe he was involved in the WARN class action suit.
