Democrats know their wokeness is a problem, but are afraid to talk about it because they will risk getting canceled.Take James Carville, for example. He’s a seasoned political consultant who, despite his affinity for guiding Democrat candidates such as Bill Clinton to political victories, is becoming increasingly worried that the left’s obsession with woke, unrelatable rhetoric such as “Latinx” and “communities of color” is distancing them from voters.

“Wokeness is a problem and everyone knows it,” Carville recently told Vox News’ Sean Illing. “It’s hard to talk to anybody today — and I talk to lots of people in the Democratic Party — who doesn’t say this. But they don’t want to say it out loud.” This quiet acknowledgment, Carville continued, is simply because Democrats are scared they will be “clobbered or canceled” by the mob which is fueled by the culture war monsters they created.

“I always tell people that we’ve got to stop speaking Hebrew and start speaking Yiddish. We have to speak the way regular people speak, the way voters speak. It ain’t complicated. That’s how you connect and persuade. And we have to stop allowing ourselves to be defined from the outside,” Carville concluded. This isn’t the first time Carville cautioned those on the left side of the political aisle to refrain from using “patronizing” language and actions when approaching voters, especially those not in urban areas. “You know how f—ing patronizing that is to people in the South or in the middle of the country?” Carville asked. “We can’t win the Senate by looking down at people. The Democratic Party has to drive a narrative that doesn’t give off vapors that we’re smarter than everyone or culturally arrogant.”

In leaked calls released late last year, President Joe Biden and Democrat leaders in the House led onto this same concept and acknowledged that it was woke talking points such as “defund the police” and socialized medicine that kept their winning margins small in 2020. “That’s how they beat the living hell out of us across the country, saying that we’re talking about defunding the police,” Biden told civil rights leaders in December. “[If] we are going to run on Medicare for All, defund the police, socialized medicine, we’re not going to win,” House Majority Whip Jim Clyburn, a Democrat from South Carolina said in November. Rep. Abigail Spanberger of Virginia echoed Clyburn’s concerns, saying that if leftists couldn’t reevaluate the platforms they relied on for the Nov. 3 election, they would lose in a landslide in the 2022 midterms.

“No one should say ‘defund the police’ ever again,” Spanberger said. “Nobody should be talking about socialism.”

The corporate controlled MSN media in the U.S. knows the power of 'propaganda'...And that's why corporate media is currently idolizing illegitimate President Biden,as a Christmas present to the politically correct and woke mob...

What working class Christian Americans 'resonate' with the Stalinist violence and atheism of the Antifa left?...And I am a long time Democratic Socialist...Where oh where is that 60s radical passion for 'Free Speech' rights?...They won't even let conservatives like Ben Shapiro speak on college campuses...True progressives know that the ''opposition'' also has 'heartfelt' and 'thoughtful' opinions about the way the country and should be run...

Only in face to face dialogue, discussion, and discourse with the ''opposition'',is it even possible to find 'truth','facts',or just correct errors of perception or judgement....

Woke Coke Gets a Rude Awakening

The iconic American company hears from the Right, and reconsiders its efforts to appease the Left

Coke is wet, lightly caffeinated, and its two-liter bottle makes for a great geyser, but that’s about the extent of its benefits. At least in our eyes. On the other hand, if you’re looking for a beverage that’ll fatten you up and rot your teeth, and whose sanctimonious CEO will insult your intelligence, it’s hard to beat The Real Thing.

Long one of the world’s most powerful brands, Atlanta-based Coca-Cola has done plenty of damage to that brand of late. Coke, in recent years, has gone woke, and the folks seem to be fed up. A recent Rasmussen Reports survey, for example, found that while only 25% say Coca-Cola’s stand against Georgia’s new voting reform law makes them more likely to buy Coke, some 37% of American adults say they’re less likely to purchase its products.

Who can blame them? Here’s what Coke’s British CEO, James Quincey, had to say about an American state’s duly passed voting reform law: “I want to be crystal clear. The Coca-Cola Company does not support this legislation, as it makes it harder for people to vote, not easier.”

Have a Coke and a sneer.

Here’s a question for Quincey: Should the purpose of voting reform legislation be to make it as easy as possible, or to make it as honest as possible? We’d argue the latter, because the former only invites more cheating. And the American people seem to agree. According to a recent poll, a whopping 77% of voters believe “a valid form of state or federally issued photo identification to prove U.S. citizenship” should be required for casting a vote. Even 60% of Democrats are in favor of photo ID.

So Woke Coke’s efforts to appease the Angry Left have clearly backfired. But what came first for Coke — going woke or going broke?

FrontPage Mag’s Daniel Greenfield has a theory: “Brands don’t go broke because they get woke, they go woke because they’re going broke, and don’t know how to stop the slow but steady collapse of their business. … But it’s those old, familiar brands that go woke because their products and business models are dated. Virtue signaling is their way of adapting to a changing market without really innovating.”

Patriot Post guest columnist Tom Aquinas (who happens to teach at a business school) sees the same trend: Coke is “more concerned with its distorted notion of social justice and less concerned about why so few are drinking its product. Maybe it’s trying to deflect criticism for being such a badly run company. But with each generation, its fate becomes more clearly sealed. This company is a dead company walking. How do I know? I teach college students and virtually none of them are drinking this product.”

What’s more, Coke seems to have placed a higher priority on globalism than on business competence. As Greenfield notes, “[Coke] has a British CEO who pledged allegiance at Davos to a ‘new social contract’ and an ‘economy that works for everyone.’ He took over from the company’s previous Turkish CEO, and the Turkish CEO’s South African predecessor. The head of Coca Cola in North America is a Honduran who came out of its Latin American division.”

We wonder: Is it xenophobic to ask what’s wrong with picking an occasional American to lead an American company?

In any case, Coke may finally be getting the message. As National Review’s Dan McLaughlin writes, “Conservatives who are tempted to despair over the abrupt shift of major corporations into engines of [the] left-wing culture war might want to take a look at Coca-Cola. Recent developments suggest that Coke is rethinking woke.”

Having suspending its advertising on Facebook and Instagram for their refusal to censor then-President Donald Trump, having been embarrassed by leaked slides from a training program that told Coke employees to “try to be less white,” and having been outed for instituting strict requirements for hiring lawyers based on their race, Coke began to feel the heat from a normally quiet Right. This included Trump and Senator Rand Paul calling for a boycott of Coke, and Senator Ted Cruz tweeting, “I wonder who the largest institutional purchasers of Coca-Cola are? Do they all agree with WokeCoke radical politics?”

The result was a rather remarkable about-face.

“We believe the best way to make progress now is for everyone to come together to listen, respectfully share concerns and collaborate on a path forward,” said Coke in a statement. “We remain open to productive conversations with advocacy groups and lawmakers who may have differing views. It’s time to find common ground. In the end, we all want the same thing — free and fair elections, the cornerstone of our democracy.”

    It’s a republic, not a democracy. But, hey, it’s a start.

‘White Privilege’: Libs Erupt as Tebow Gets Second NFL Chance While Kaepernick Remains Sidelined

Twitter erupted Monday with accusations of white privilege and racism as leftists went on the attack after Tim Tebow was reportedly set for another shot at playing in the NFL even as national anthem protester Colin Kaepernick still sits on the sidelines.

News broke on Monday that the Jacksonville Jaguars are expected to sign former Heisman Trophy winner and NFL and MBA layer Tim Tebow to a one-year contract:

Parents of suspended UMass students: Punishment for off-campus maskless photo ‘complete overkill'

Students not allowed to finish semester after suspension

The parents of three University of Massachusetts-Amherst students who were suspended for allegedly violating the school's COVID-19 health policy told "Fox & Friends" the "draconian" punishment was "complete overkill."

The decision reportedly was made after school administrators got hold of a photo of the trio maskless at a party off-campus.

The students, all women, were first removed from campus and then were cut off their remote-lessons access.

"They went to a gathering, off-campus on a Saturday. They took a picture and another student screenshotted that picture on Instagram and sent it to the administration," one of the parents told host Brian Kilmeade on Tuesday. "So that picture virtually got them kicked out of school."

"It's been heartbreaking watching my well-adjusted daughter be emotionally distraught," she added. "It's been heartbreaking for my whole family."

She stressed that the university has shown "no compassion to us."

The women were also reportedly not allowed to take their final exams, rendering the school year moot and forcing them to reapply next year. The cost for one semester is $16,000 — a fee the families will not see refunded as part of the punishment.

"This has obviously devastated three families," one of the mothers, who identified herself only by her first name, Betsy, said. The teacher and single mother stressed that the situation has "devastated" her daughter.

"She is broken and crushed and she doesn't even want to continue," she continued, noting that her daughter doesn’t want to attend the University of Massachusetts-Amherst anymore.

Betsy said that she and her daughter live in Maryland and that the punishment essentially left her daughter homeless.

AS US REOPENS, CAMPUSES TIGHTEN RESTRICTIONS FOR VIRUS

"This picture popped up and the university was swift and fierce in their actions," she said. "They gave my daughter less than nine hours to move off campus essentially making her homeless 500 miles from home with no recourse."

"They didn't help her. They didn't ask her if she had a place to go. They didn't ask her if she had the ability to get food for herself," she continued. "This has just been a terrible, terrible injustice and I just don't feel the punishment fits the crime."

A university spokesman said in a statement sent to Fox News that "UMass Amherst does not comment on the details of specific disciplinary cases due to federal privacy law restrictions."

He, however, added that "expectations regarding students’ responsibility to follow public health protocols, and the consequences for failing to do so, were clearly communicated to students before and throughout the spring semester, and students were updated regularly as conditions changed."

He went on to point out that "more than 10 UMass Amherst students were suspended for participation at large and small gatherings on the weekend of March 6-7, when the campus was operating at Elevated Risk during the pandemic and had just emerged from severe High Risk restrictions due to a surge in positive COVID-19 cases."

UMass banned outdoor exercise and implemented strict stay-at-home orders in February, according to Newsweek. In March, around 200 students were at risk of being suspended after a large party, which administrators said posed an immediate health risk to others on campus.

"I don't think that they were very clear in their expectations of the students," one of the mothers named Theresa argued on Tuesday.

Her husband R.J. added that "there was absolutely no precedent set from a suspension perspective."

"Our take is if they [university administrators] say they did something wrong, OK, they did something wrong, [but] the punishment endured for the last two months has been more than enough," he continued, before calling the punishment "draconian."
"We just want what's right for the kids," he added. "The university should allow them to log back into their portals so they can finish the spring semester and get their credits for the spring semester."

He stressed that "these kids have put in over 300 hours each of schooling" and are "all great students."

"These are the type of students that UMass should want at their campus and they need to do the right thing to start making this right," he said, noting that the students have "paid their restitution" and "paid their dues."

His message for university administrators: "Let them back in and get their credits and we’ll move on from there."

This is the narrative that the MSM and corrupt politicians are selling to the American public using the divide and conquer technique to keep us divided...

Video shows San Diego police repeatedly punching Black man

SAN DIEGO (AP) — A video shot by a bystander shows San Diego police officers repeatedly punching a man in the face, head and leg after tackling him to the ground in the upscale neighborhood of La Jolla, the San Diego Union-Tribune reported Thursday. Nicole Bansal told the newspaper she witnessed the arrest around 9 a.m. Wednesday and decided to record it with her cellphone. 'It’s so excessive and unnecessary,” Bansal told the newspaper. San Diego Police Department spokesman Lt. Shawn Takeuchi said in a statement the officers saw the man urinating in public and asked him to stop. One officer he said struck the man 'several times” after he would not comply with orders. 'The man would not stop to speak with officers therefore an officer held the man to detain him," Takeuchi said. 'Despite the officers repeatedly telling the man to ‘stop resisting,' the man would not comply. One of the officers struck the man several times." He said department officials are aware of the cellphone video and the internal affairs unit is investigating the incident, including reviewing body-worn camera footage. In the video, an officer is seen tackling the man to the ground as another officer holds the man's arm. The officer then punches him in the face repeatedly. Bansal, who was parked across the street, can be heard gasping and yelling, 'Stop!” The man can be seen yanking a radio off one officer’s belt and throwing into the street, then punching or swiping at the face of the officer who had hit him. The man, who is Black, is shoeless and wearing a faded orange life preserver around his neck.

Bansal told the newspaper she often passes the man while walking her dog and that he usually talks to himself. She said he has never made her feel threatened. For the next 2˝ minutes, the officers keep the man pinned to the ground as they shout commands for him to stop resisting. The two officers strike the man several more times before other officers arrive. The man was taken to a hospital before being booked into county jail on suspicion of resisting arrest and battery on a police officer, Takeuchi said. In an email to Chief David Nisleit, Francine Maxwell, president of the NAACP San Diego branch, wrote that 'to yell ‘stop resisting’ and to continually punch and slap this man was clearly not conducive to calming the situation.” Maxwell cited the department’s de-escalation policy, implemented last June amid protests following George Floyd’s murder in Minneapolis. 'This man posed no obvious threat, had no apparent weapons and no one else was near. We want to know that this incident of violence will be properly investigated, and be assured that these officers will not be exonerated for this assault on an unarmed black man," she wrote.

Which is exactly what the 'woke population' sees... A systemic racist country where it's not safe for an innocent black man to walk the streets who has a very high potential to be a victim of police brutality simply due to the color of his skin. A country mostly made of the 'white privileged' who frown upon anyone who's skin is not the color of their own. A country where 'white supremacy' rules where all others are not particularly welcome.

But here's what the article doesn't mention...

According to United States Census Bureau figures, the ethnic/racial makeup of La Jolla is 82.5% White, 0.8% Black, 0.2% American Indian, 11.2% Asian, 0.1% Pacific Islander, 2.0% some other race, and 3.1% two or more races. Latinos, who may be of any race, form 7.2% of La Jolla's population.

La Jolla had the highest home prices in the nation in 2008 and 2009, according to a survey by Coldwell Banker. The survey compares the cost of a standardized four-bedroom home in communities across the country. The average price for such a home in La Jolla was reported as $1.842 million in 2008 and $2.125 million in 2009.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/La_Jolla
La Jolla is also the 44th richest neighborhood in the U.S.

Here's what I see... a systemic racist rich bigoted neighborhood where it's not safe for an innocent black man to walk the streets who has a very high potential to be a victim of police brutality simply due to the color of his skin and being in a neighborhood where he is not wanted. And that also applies to the poor and mediocre as well.

The MSM and corrupt politicians don't give a rat's ass about the safety of the American people... except for the elitists and their own!!! And that also applies to the Wuhan virus.

This country's citizens are at odds with each other because the MSM and corrupt politicians want it that way and the 'woke population' or 'useful idiots' if you will... make it possible!!!

A country divided and fearful is much easier to manipulate and control.
