Imagine if we had a President that called a woman a "Dog". Or a "Pig".

My answer to that is "big deal"......pretty much the same answer I gave to Nuno for posting orange orangutang.
There's a hell of alot more important things than name calling and labelling.....if somebody wants to mock me that is their problem..not mine...maybe I choose not to listen to them anymore...big deal.....but I ain't gonna call the police or newspapers or courts about it like some of today's baby society would.
It isn't important at all......sooner or later we won't be able to say anything without offending somebody ....maybe we need no artwork or statues or media or writing or music or books because it can result in lawsuit...Maybe soon ya can't wear black because it offends blacks or brown because it offends people with tan skin...or white becausebofcwhite skin.....maybe all men and women should shave our heads bald and wear gray clothing with no symbols or artwork because it offends somebody.....sue sue sue sue sue.......
We need to grow up and stop looking for victimhood status and special favor in the courts for free Money lawsuits....it is way beyond out of hand.

Bringing Back 'Archaic and Gruesome Weapons,' Trump Reverses US Restrictions on Landmines

            https://www.commondreams.org/news/20...ions-landmines
More about weapons that other nations have banned that our President has now endorsed with a policy change.
I assume ending wars really wasn't what he meant.

160 nations ban these weapons. The US now embraces them
The Trump administration, which came into office pledging to end “endless wars,” has now embraced weapons prohibited by more than 160 countries, and is readying them for future use. Cluster bombs and anti-personnel land mines, deadly explosives known for maiming and killing civilians long after the fighting ended, have become integral to the Pentagon’s future war plans — but with little public rationale offered for where and why they would be used.
The Trump administration’s abolishment of past policies that limited the development and use of these weapons has already drawn condemnation from some of the United States’ closest allies in Europe, further fraying strained relations.
The European Union said in a statement this week that the use of anti-personnel land mines “anywhere, anytime, and by any actor remains completely unacceptable.”
U.S. forces last used land mines and cluster munitions in large quantities during the 1991 Gulf War, and cleanup efforts in Kuwait and Iraq to find and destroy unexploded ordnance of both types continue today. Since 1993, the U.S. has spent $3.4 billion to demine and eradicate unexploded ordnance in the Middle East and Southeast Asia, where civilians still are killed by the remnants left over from the Vietnam conflict. That figure does not include spending to clean up unexploded weapons — including from cluster bombs — on disused military practice ranges, including those on the island of Kaho’olawe in Hawaii and on Vieques in Puerto Rico.

Remember this statement a couple years back ? Trump told the people of Youngstown "don't sell your house", only to have that come back to bite him.
But we all know der trump says many things that usually are just fragments of his unkept promises. There is a thread with all his campaign promises, most of which were just outright lies. So why would anybody believe a person whose record of lies and deceit are beyond what any politician has shoved down our throats before ? Good question. Many people are gullible. Let's hope not this time, for this story.

Trump promises 100,000 new ‘high-paying’ auto jobs — here’s why it’s not that simple
President Trump promised “nearly 100,000 new high-paying American auto jobs” in his State of the Union address Tuesday, a result of the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA). He added that the agreement would “boost exports for our farmers, ranchers, and factory workers.”
However, there were 10,600 auto industry job cuts in January, according to Bureau of Labor Statistics data released Friday. Last year there were 50,776 job cuts in the auto industry, according to a separate report published Thursday by Challenger, Gray and Christmas, a Chicago-based outplacement and career-transitioning firm. The sector has been slashing jobs amid trade concerns. (Challenger’s report found that there were only 5,437 job cuts in January.)
What’s more, average hourly wages in the auto industry currently hover at $23.90, barely $2 more an hour than in 2009. Those wages are below the average hourly wage of $28.44 for the private sector, according to the BLS.
Trump’s claim that the USMCA will create 100,000 auto jobs may be an exaggeration. A report by the U.S. International Trade Commission estimated USMCA would create 176,000 jobs in the U.S. overall, with 28,000 jobs in the auto sector. The U.S. Trade Representative’s office estimated that the agreement would create 76,000 new auto-sector jobs over the next five years, Politico reported.

The fact is the economy is running strong.
As for campaign promises look at the democrats obstruction.
Do you think Bernie would get his campaign promises?
He far left his own party would not pass his bills and not republican would vote for.

Both sides have been obstructionist. What about all the bills sitting on Moscow Mitch's desk ?

Oh we forgot!! It's Obama's economy. Obama blamed Bush for like seven years for everything and now takes credit for Trumps economy and you fall for it .. Now that's priceless. A whole lot of the economy today is the energy sector. Where was Obama on that?? You know the Keystone pipeline that was supported by the unions?? Where was he on that?? Oh and remember when he told a successful businessman that the guy didn't build his business that the government did .. Yeah those were the days.. Took credit from others and blamed everyone else for his miscues..

Yep, sounds exactly like what Trump does. Takes credit for others accomplishments.

Now your saying Bush didn't run this country into one of the worst economic free falls since the great depression ?
                      That is priceless.

The keystone pipeline is an environmental disaster waiting to happen ... oh that's right, it already has caused multiple environmental spills and contaminations.

Need I remind once again, during Obama's Presidency, gasoline fell to the lowest point in the last ten years ?
But you'll deny those facts too.

Maybe some day Trump will learn to educate himself with facts before opening his orange mouth and spouting off about headaches.

109 US troops diagnosed with TBI after Iran missile barrage says Pentagon in latest update
More than 100 U.S. troops have been diagnosed with traumatic brain injury following Iran’s Jan. 8 ballistic missile attack on al-Asad airbase in Iraq.
According to the Pentagon, a total of 109 U.S. service members have been diagnosed with mild TBI — up from the 64 cases the Defense Department previously identified in its last update. So far, 76 of those troops have returned to duty.
“The Defense Department is steadfast in its efforts to deliver programs and services intended to lead to the best possible outcomes for our service members,” Pentagon spokesperson Alyssa Farah said in a statement Monday.
“We are grateful to the efforts of our medical professionals who have worked diligently to ensure the appropriate level of care for our service members, which has enabled nearly 70 percent of those diagnosed to return to duty," she said. "We must continue to address physical and mental health together.”
What that means is more then 30 military members cannot return to active duty yet from the severity of their injuries.
Must be more then a headache.

That they caught it this early is a very good thing. Years back they would never even been diagnosed with TBI. Now they can be treated properly ..

Because we have a few posters that attempt to derail every thread.
