Today the house has voted and passed another stimulus bill. It likely will fail in the senate. The Trump administration wants a payroll tax reduction, or elimination. Plus they want the capitol gains tax reduced or eliminated. That would really help joe average wouldn't it ?

Trump's Phase 4 Stimulus Proposal Would Be an Epic Failure
For the past two months, mitigation measures meant to halt the spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have wreaked havoc on the U.S. economy and labor market. We've seen more than 33 million initial unemployment benefit claims filed, and the unemployment rate has rocketed from 50-year lows of sub-4% to Great Depression levels of 14.7%.
The question, of course, is what this next round of stimulus might look like. In recent weeks, four proposals from both sides of the political aisle have been making their rounds on Capitol Hill. But if there's to be a phase four stimulus deal, President Trump has a very specific idea of what that package should include.
In Trump's view, the best way to resolve the current economic malaise would be to eliminate or reduce the payroll tax, as well as the capital gains tax. In addition to stating that "we're not doing anything without a payroll tax cut."
First of all, a payroll tax reduction or elimination would only help Americans who still have a job. Presumably, the 33 million people who've filed for unemployment benefits over a seven-week period are the folks who need financial assistance far more expediently than those who still have a job and are receiving a paycheck each week. Yes, a payroll tax reduction or elimination would help a majority of Americans, but those who need financial assistance the most would not benefit from the change.
Secondly, but perhaps more importantly, the payroll tax is the primary funding mechanism for Social Security and Medicare. In 2019, Social Security generated 89% of the $1.06 trillion it collected via the payroll tax. Removing or eliminating the payroll tax puts Social Security and Medicare at serious risk of not being able to fully cover benefits.
Third and finally, a reduction or elimination of the capital gains tax would, again, not help those who need it most. Only around 10% (or fewer) of people surveyed said that they plan to invest their stimulus checks, suggesting that few workers and families are in a safe enough financial position to consider investing at the moment. A capital gains tax reduction would only help a small percentage of Americans.

Like I always say. There are two sides to every story. Seems many of the "protesters" in Washington DC, disrupting Trump's propaganda speech are most definitely protesting against him. One protester said "he lied on national TV" and they were not there to support Trump.

'He lied on national television': Trump says truckers protesting industry problems are actually honking to support him
When blaring truck horns intruded on President Donald Trump's Friday speech in the White House Rose Garden about the search for a coronavirus vaccine, Trump claimed that this was the sound of a pro-Trump protest.
The truckers who have lined streets near the White House since May 1 are indeed protesters, not people holding any kind of celebration -- and they are protesting a variety of issues affecting their jobs, not protesting in favor of Trump. In fact, one of their complaints is about what they say is lax federal enforcement of a regulation requiring more transparency from freight brokers.
"This is a protest," Anderson said. "Mr. Trump elaborated that we were here to support him. Our message to him would be this is a protest against bad regulation, broker transparency, truck insurance, so on and so forth. This is not here to support Trump. We're here to get resolution and bring awareness to our problem and fix our problems."
There were pro-Trump messages visible on some of the trucks that lined Constitution Avenue on Friday morning. But participating truckers, many of whom are independent owner-operators, emphasized that they were not there for the purpose of praising the President.
"There are people here that in fact love Trump, there are people here that in fact do not," Michael Landis, chief executive of the United States Transportation Alliance advocacy non-profit and a truck owner-operator who is part of the protest, told CNN on Friday afternoon.
We've been let down by the administration, by (Transportation) Secretary Elaine Chao, by the FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration)," he said.

The court system has it's hands full with the Trump family of con man and shysters.

FEDERAL JUDGE RULES LAWSUIT AGAINST TRUMP CORPORATION WILL GO FORWARD
District Judge Lorna G. Schofield ruled that the class action lawsuit can move forward despite Trump's legal counsel requesting a stay. The lawsuit, led by four anonymous plaintiffs, claims that the Trump and his children Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump and Ivanka Trump are guilty of fraud, false advertising and unfair competition for their dealings with multi-level marketing company ACN, although federal racketeering and conspiracy charges were dismissed last year.
Schofield's decision came after Trump's lawyers launched interlocutory appeals in the case—a type of legal appeal filed while a case is ongoing rather than it after it has finished. The judge cited Trump's unsuccessful bid to force the case into arbitration "despite the absence of any written agreement" as a reason why an appeal was unlikely to be successful. Other factors in the decision included how much harm a stay would inflict on either party, along with what decision would be in the best interest of the public.
In March, Schofield ordered Trump to provide the plaintiffs with 15 years of detailed records that could include information relevant to the case. She ruled against the attempt to force arbitration the following month.
Trump insisted that he was "not familiar" with the company's business practices after launching his 2016 presidential campaign, despite having earlier spoken on behalf of the company at events and in promotional videos, as well as featuring them on The Celebrity Apprentice.

One of the great propaganda myths is that this administration, specially Trump, cares about the military and the troops.
I guess it's all a matter of opinion and how you view things. Does this appear to be a gesture of caring for those that serve ?

Trump Administration to End National Guard COVID Deployments One Day Before GI Bill Benefits Kick In
In 2017, Donald Trump signed something called the “Forever GI Bill” at his company’s golf course in Bedminster, New Jersey. The law expanded the educational benefits that had been made available under the “Post-9/11 GI Bill,” which was passed in 2008, and which supplemented various benefits that can be traced back to the original 1944 GI Bill. The White House would later tout the “Forever GI Bill” as an example of how Trump was “working tirelessly to provide the benefits and services that our veterans deserve.”

In late March, the Trump administration authorized the deployment of members of the National Guard to help local authorities conduct coronavirus tests, set up field hospitals, and perform other critical public health tasks that carried a risk of infection. More than 40,000 service members have been deployed in total, but Politico now reports that they will all be recalled on June 24—one day before the first group sent into the field would reach the 90-day active-duty minimum that’s required to qualify for GI Bill education benefits and for a retirement benefit that was also created in 2008.
Specifically, members must be on active duty for more than 90 days to begin qualifying for help paying for tuition, fees, housing, and supplies at colleges, trade schools, and vocational training programs. Serving for 90 days on active duty also reduces the age at which they can retire with benefits by three months.
