In my Opinion, Trump doesn’t deserve a Noble Peace Prize period!

Would that be the same way Bush lived in Obama's head for seven years??

Trump's head is a tenement. Leased to the most recent recipient of an accolade that he feels only he deserves.

I would rather have a president with a head the size of a tenement than one that has the size of a pea..

100% of the tariffs has been paid by us American citizens!

Omg, Tariffs are not on goods they are on Chinese Goods. In other words if those goods are purchase other than China no Tariff is paid. China is 70% dependent on exports.
We can win and that win is larger than any temporary penalty.
Stop being the voice of the irrational Anti American.
Trump is trying to win and the left will attempt anyth to derail that win in any hope of winning the election. Impeachment has failed.

This article is from the Wharton School, the same school that Trump supposedly graduated from, even though we never saw his grades, or anything from the school.
The tariffs will affect more then just the products which have had an additional "tax" placed on those products. What has been said before, the total cost will be absorbed by the American consumer. Add in the Billions paid to our framers under Trump's socialistic program and the totals may never be recovered with any tariff program.
It appears to be easy saying people must shoulder the weight of these tariffs, when those saying that don't have any real risk or aren't involved in any way except to voice an opinion.

ECONOMIC ANALYSIS OF US-CHINA TRADE WAR
The tariffs affect consumers through two major avenues: a rise in prices for consumer goods and deadweight loss in the economy. It has also successfully made US industries and manufacturers more competitive with producers in China who can operate at a much lower cost. A study by the National Bureau of Economic Research estimated that the 2018 tariffs increased the average price of goods manufactured in the US by one percent, in the industries that use or compete with targeted imports.
Furthermore, it has been estimated that ~$165 billion will be redirected within 2019, with the current tariffs in effect. Not only this, countries may source materials from countries that have been traditionally costlier but are now more cost-effective than China due to these tariffs. In such cases, prices for consumers will rise, but the tariff revenue will be unaffected, thereby contributing to economic deadweight loss.
Over the past year, many large companies have been able to absorb rising costs by accumulating inventory before tariffs were levied. But this strategy is ultimately unsustainable and will eventually lead to price markups.
These markups also have a profound impact on small businesses who are more sensitive to changes in consumer demand. Furthermore, they may not be able to absorb costs while the economy and consumer preferences slowly shift.
Furthermore, a study by the Brookings Institute estimated that about 2.1 million jobs would be disrupted by the following retaliatory Chinese tariffs across 40 industries in the US.
Given the initial economic changes to date, economic activity will likely slow and US consumers will face the majority of the costs imposed by tariffs.

That's what tariffs do. If you want to buy foreign junk to save money and put us out of work....then you pay extra for it to benefit the nation.
                      It's a great idea.
And if it gets too expesive...then the goods will be made here...and we benefit.
Job loss due to imports creates enormous tax loss...and then enormous tax burdens.
Income tax was created to get rid of tariffs....now we all pay for the imports and just get cheap junk out of the deal.
I would bet that the cost of imports has been way higher than the benefit in many many ways...especially in tax ways.
Imagine if there was no income tax...and tariffs replaced them...a reversal.......2-500 extra dollars in the check per week. and the debt would come down and job numbers and pay would go up.

Better it be pushed onto consumers than tax payers.....taxes are forced...what consumers buy is not forced...they are free to buy what they want.

                            Still pointless
You could say it costs more to buy American and so more expensive to the people.
                            We can win.
All these leftist might as well be writing their opinions in the Communist Media.
Perhaps you can help other Americans to side with China so they can continue to ravage our economy.
