Why not ask the 40 republicans that voted NO on H.R. 6201 ?

Then the link you posted also had this to say.

Like it has been said. No proof, so why attempt to smear an issue when a health crisis is affecting millions ?
Because they did not want millions going to abortion.

      Any proof of that ?
      No, I didn't think so.
Once again, leave it to the radical right republicans to create diversional propaganda.

.Several White House officials have accused House Speaker Nancy Pelosi of trying to slip in an exception for the Hyde Amendment into a coronavirus stimulus bill.

The officials said Thursday that Pelosi tried to negotiate a provision that would have created a "slush fund" with access for groups previously banned from receiving funds under the Hyde Amendment, according to the Daily Caller.

"A new mandatory funding stream that does not have Hyde protections would be unprecedented," one of the officials said. "Under the guise of protecting people, Speaker Pelosi is working to make sure taxpayer dollars are spent covering abortion, which is not only backwards but goes against historical norms."

Let me see ? Is that some type of proof ?
What I read is several White House officals ( unnamed ) say something about the Hyde amendment ( no bias there ? ) and then contort an explanation that money might be used for something other then what was agreed to.
              Any proof in that ?

Besides, that sounds like something this administration has done before. Taking budgeted money and directing it to some other issue.

Here's a timeline of what the Dems thought was important as the virus was emerging.
Maybe we need to look at both sides instead of Trump only.
                https://trendingpolitics.com/timelin...avirus-threat/

January 11: Chinese state media report the first known death from an illness originating in the Wuhan market.

January 15: Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) holds a vote to send articles of impeachment to the Senate. Pelosi and House Democrats celebrate the “solemn” occasion with a signing ceremony, using commemorative pens.

January 21: The first person with coronavirus arrives in the United States from China, where he had been in Wuhan.

January 23: The House impeachment managers make their opening arguments for removing President Trump.

January 23: China closes off the city of Wuhan completely to slow the spread of coronavirus to the rest of China.

January 30: Senators begin asking two days of questions of both sides in the president’s impeachment trial.

January 30: The World Health Organization declares a global health emergency as coronavirus continues to spread.

January 31: The Senate holds a vote on whether to allow further witnesses and documents in the impeachment trial.

January 31: President Trump declares a national health emergency and imposes a ban on travel to and from China. Former Vice President Joe Biden calls Trump’s decision “hysterical xenophobia … and fear-mongering.”

February 2: The first death from coronavirus outside China is reported in the Philippines.

February 3: House impeachment managers begin closing arguments, calling Trump a threat to national security.

February 4: President Trump talks about coronavirus in his State of the Union address; Pelosi rips up every page.

February 5: The Senate votes to acquit President Trump on both articles of impeachment, 52-48 and 53-47.

February 5: House Democrats finally take up coronavirus in the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Asia

Impeachment hoax was over. Now to Blame Trump for a slow reaction to the virus. It's like a Hollywood script. Can't make this sh*t up.

What a joke the Democrats are .. But just like everything else they do they Blame Trump. Timing is everything.Nancy Pelozi said they could do more than one thing at a time. The timeline here proves her wrong..House Democrats could have taken up the corona virus up earlier but most likely they were glued to their TV sets watching the impeachment hearings.

Here's stuff Pelosi and company put in....which have nothing to do with getting immediate help people need. Sneaky selfish stuff which they know the GOP would oppose....therefore they knew it cause delay in the passage IF the GOP caught it....and they did.
And then the Dems and their media turn around and say "the big bad greedy selfish heartless GOP is delaying the emergency bill".
That makes the Dems look very bad and untrustworthy imo. If the Dems are the group who everybody thinks are the only helpers of unions......this kind of sneaky and dishonest stuff by their party hurts us more than helps us imo.
                          https://pjmedia.com/trending/the-rea...onavirus-bill/

Yet contrary to the liberal attacks that led "40 Republicans" to trend on Twitter this morning, the Republicans who decided to buck Trump and vote against the bill are not heartless. Almost all of them actually voted for an $8.3 billion coronavirus spending bill just last week.
As Reason's Billy Binion explained, the "Families First" bill would cost tens of billions of dollars. In addition to providing full government funding for coronavirus testing, the bill would "mandate private businesses provide additional paid sick leave; expand unemployment insurance eligibility; strengthen food security initiatives for senior citizens, children, pregnant women, and food banks; increase funding for Medicaid; and bolster unemployment benefits, among other provisions."

Binion zeroed in on one specific aspect of the bill: a permanent government-mandated paid sick leave program with some rather odd inclusions.

"Should the bill pass, businesses would be federally required to provide seven days of paid sick leave—with or without a pandemic. This provision has little relevance to addressing coronavirus and much more to do with leveraging the crisis to prop up policies popular within the Democratic Party," he wrote. "That couldn't be more clear in the legislation's stalking component. The text specifies that, should someone need to miss work due to an instance pertaining to stalking, domestic violence, or sexual assault, or should an employee need to help a friend going through such an event, a private business would be federally required to provide paid sick leave."

The House reportedly removed the permanent provisions before the passage of the bill, and Pelosi worked with Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin on the bill. However, it remains possible that other provisions were smuggled in under the radar. The rushed process also does not speak well to the transparency of the legislation.

Here's the stuff. What stuff ? Only thing I saw was something about paid sick leave.
Everything else is speculation and fake news. No proof.

Nero fiddles as Rome burns.......Dear leader said there was nothing to worry about. Was that another lie? Trump speaks, people listen. Doesn't the reality show Prez realize the repercussions of his words?

Those acting as guardrails in Trump's maladministration were gone. Surrounding himself with "yes" men and women came to be. The "best" people for the job aren't quite living up to their billing in the reality show presidency.

Meanwhile that stack of proposed legislation piled up on the Senate majority leader's desk before, during, and after Trump was impeached. McConnell, the grim reaper, take the weekend off........

Trump has touted his work as "perfect" and "beautiful" yet we see an entirely different outcome from his leadership in the crisis moment. Bonespurs flaring up?

What exactly did you want him to say. Hurry and go buy your groceries and sooner or later your all gonna get sick. Wait till the virus crisis is over and then criticize him. Get your jollies off seems to be something you like to do. ImO the whole thing is way overblown..
As far as the senate taking off for the weekend? I agree that they should be in Washington till the shit stops hitting the fan. That is why they get paid.
