Let's be fair about this. This pandemic isn't Trump's fault. We have had corporate stimulus bailouts in the past (Tarp). Nobody knows how much better or worse it could be handled by the democrats. Hopefully the stimulus money will reach those really in need.............Personally I don't believe that the republicans are as compassionate to the needy as the democrats would be.

"democrats wanted to add" the key word is wanted. It's called compromise so they had to drop some it like the Butch Lewis Act. They had come to a bipartisan agreement. Not like Mitch having his way with the coal miner's pension fund bailout in the funding bill.

I agree with you on the Butch Lewis act.. But what she want ed had a whole lot to do with the New Green deal.. Nothing at all connecting to the Coronavirus..I have said it before,I would love to see the Butch Lewis act get added as the Miller Klein [think that is what it was called] was added at the last minute to a national budget vote..And McConell is nothing more that a witch in a suit..

Could it be possible that she added pork to her wish list knowing that it would never pass the republican controlled senate? Maybe her plan all along was just to put things in the house bill so she had things to drop when Schumer negotiated with McConnell.
