I believe the country will go down a path with no return ... Those that voted for Biden have no idea what they will get other than they got the big bad orange man out.. You're right... I... like yourself... believe that no president is really in charge and the deep state pulls the strings but Trump being detested by the deep state only re-enforces my belief of Trump being what's in the best interests for the country. I also believe that the rich will always get richer because the government will remain being influenced by the rich and always be corrupt seeing that it has been in place for who knows how many generations. Look what happened to Kennedy when he tried getting rid of the Fed which no president has been foolish enough to try since. And that was back in the sixty's... imagine how sophisticated they are today. Any reasonable person wouldn't even think that one man alone could change that fact but that doesn't mean that we can't have hope for electing a president who wants to bring back good paying jobs and put China back in their place instead of looking out for what's in China's best interest as well as their own over it's own citizens. I don't care if the rich get richer and things like how much a CEO makes... just as long as the working man get his share fair.

But we don't have to just roll over and accept it either and I... for one... will not take on a defeatist attitude. But... here's the kicker... we actually had a man that was bold (you can even call it arrogance and egotistical if you wish) enough and start trying to get the long process of cleaning out the swamp... and what happens... many citizens hate the man for it... call him corrupt and would rather see the same old corrupt government remains the same tomorrow as it is today. Just how they can't see through that just astounds me. I remember watching Billy Jack goes to Washington back in the day... IMO... that's a pretty good depiction of the political process and the swamp will only be getting deeper as long as the citizens remain divided.... which leads us to the media's part in all of this.

The right keep saying that Trump wants to drain the "Swamp" when I first heard that I figure he would use all "Outsiders" people not associated with Washington....but he didn't he just recycle the same old Washington Elites into his cabinet...thats not draining the Swamp IMO...and guess what Biden is doing the same thing....

You mentioned Ross Perot… I thought that he would of made a good president at first… then something happened in the form of threats if I recall and he backed down which didn’t impress me much but I still ended up voting for him… just because he wasn’t establishment.

IMO... We have to get the majority of Americans to actually want the corruption out of our government. I know it sounds like a given but it’s not. Many don’t actually give a shit one way or another and many already accepted the fact that there will always be corruption in our government.

If we really want things to change... it's going to have to start with "we the people". First... "We the people" have to realize that we are a big part of the problem because this quote holds true... "The first step to solve any problem is to acknowledge that there is a problem". Second... there's the gullible who believe that if it's on the main stream news... it must be true. Third... there's the impressionable who allow themselves to be manipulated by the MSM. Fourth... the main component... don’t let them keep using the divide and conquer strategy that our politicians have been devising and the MSM have been ramming down our throats decade after decade.

Who keeps dividing the races… the media. Who keeps dividing the parties… the media. And who keeps letting them… the citizens. We are all being played… but the question is how do we stop it if we all don’t even realize and accept the fact that it’s really going on… we can’t. Sure… this country has been at odds with itself from the beginning but we always had to some degree the checks and balances system to keep us somewhat in line along with pretty reliable investigative journalism for the most part back in the day but that sure doesn’t hold true today seeing how the checks and balances system is so corrupt that it’s nothing but an elaborate dog and pony show and 6 corporations control 90% of the media outlets in America. How’s that for a recipe for disaster.

Just look at all these media platforms and the comments at the end of all the news articles. All you see is heated arguments and downright hatred... which in all honesty... I have been guilty of too. So... I will have to do some attitude adjusting myself but that's kind of hard when so many won't budge when it comes to what they believe to be facts when in reality it's only their opinion which was formed after the truth was probably spun by some news article or newscast… if it even started as the truth in the first place. They won't even consider the fact that the news report or article could be only a half-truth or downright false because like I previously mentioned... once a person's mind is set... people don't want to hear anything to the contrary... only things that they themselves think to be true... that's human nature and the politicians and media know and how to use it to their advantage. The human mind also has a very unique way of justifying anything derogatory or contradicting to what they believe. Just look at us on this forum... many only acknowledge the other party's faults... not their own... and IMO… one party more than the other but that's beyond the point. Here's an example...posts about Trumps alleged tax fraud and poor handling of the virus but not even acknowledging any of Biden's alleged corruption and possible onset of dementia.

We all have faults and I know I have my fair share so why do people always pick and choose which politician to publicly criticize while neglecting others. I say it’s for the reason I stated above… so they can justify it in their mind while also trying to convince others that they are right and prove their point. Pointing out people’s faults doesn’t make your argument… all it does is end up making the whole argument meaningless because then it becomes nothing but both members just arguing about each other’s guys faults which proves absolutely nothing because we all have them… just some more than others.

One can see that I obviously lean towards the right and that’s because I believe the left is far leaning to socialism today... but I'm no republican and definitely don't blindly follow their party because there's many corrupt and unethical politicians in their party too but I am a conservative who believes in the Constitution and the oath of office that our politicians have to take which I see members of both parties violating every single day of the week… again some more than others. I also believe in the oath I took decades ago and that every single American should be outraged when a politician breaks their oath and violates the Constitution... but that doesn't happen... why... because many Americans don't agree with the part that is being violated so it's Ok with them... and that would have to change. Just look how the measters weakened this great union of ours by only wanting to follow the contract and didn’t care if it was violated one bit if it was beneficial to them.

IMO… that’s the problem today… too many measters in the union along with too many in the country. The Rank and File has been complaining about Junior and company screwing the members for how many years now… but they couldn’t have kept doing it without the majority’s approval or acceptance.

… and go around creating jobs and making cities a better and safer place to live. I guess it is like they say... action speaks louder than words and the squeaky wheel gets the grease. Hmm... I wonder if our politicians and media realize this?

IMO... We have to get the majority of Americans to actually want the corruption out of our government. I know it sounds like a given but it’s not. Many don’t actually give a shit one way or another and many already accepted the fact that there will always be corruption in our government.

If we really want things to change... it's going to have to start with "we the people". First... "We the people" have to realize that we are a big part of the problem because this quote holds true... "The first step to solve any problem is to acknowledge that there is a problem". Second... there's the gullible who believe that if it's on the main stream news... it must be true. Third... there's the impressionable who allow themselves to be manipulated by the MSM. Fourth... the main component... don’t let them keep using the divide and conquer strategy that our politicians have been devising and the MSM have been ramming down our throats decade after decade.

Who keeps dividing the races… the media. Who keeps dividing the parties… the media. And who keeps letting them… the citizens. We are all being played… but the question is how do we stop it if we all don’t even realize and accept the fact that it’s really going on… we can’t. Sure… this country has been at odds with itself from the beginning but we always had to some degree the checks and balances system to keep us somewhat in line along with pretty reliable investigative journalism for the most part back in the day but that sure doesn’t hold true today seeing how the checks and balances system is so corrupt that it’s nothing but an elaborate dog and pony show and 6 corporations control 90% of the media outlets in America. How’s that for a recipe for disaster.

Just look at all these media platforms and the comments at the end of all the news articles. All you see is heated arguments and downright hatred... which in all honesty... I have been guilty of too. So... I will have to do some attitude adjusting myself but that's kind of hard when so many won't budge when it comes to what they believe to be facts when in reality it's only their opinion which was formed after the truth was probably spun by some news article or newscast… if it even started as the truth in the first place. They won't even consider the fact that the news report or article could be only a half-truth or downright false because like I previously mentioned... once a person's mind is set... people don't want to hear anything to the contrary... only things that they themselves think to be true... that's human nature and the politicians and media know and how to use it to their advantage. The human mind also has a very unique way of justifying anything derogatory or contradicting to what they believe. Just look at us on this forum... many only acknowledge the other party's faults... not their own... and IMO… one party more than the other but that's beyond the point. Here's an example...posts about Trumps alleged tax fraud and poor handling of the virus but not even acknowledging any of Biden's alleged corruption and possible onset of dementia.

Man, thats a lot of typing...but I like it for the most part....but when it comes to Socialism most people don't get it..the rich benefit more than anyone else...just look whats going on now ..with the virus...possible force vaccines with no liability and if you do get to Sue ..guess who picks up the tab...the "TAX PAYER" look it up (reading a book on vaccines thats how I know)

I look at society in the US in these terms...

The bears rule and determine policy, below the bears are the wolfs who enforce the policy,and next are the sheep who obey the policy....Outside this structure are the foxes who 'refuse' to comply with the policy.... Change in the US will only come about when the foxes 'outnumber' the sheep.....

What holds us back?......"Fear"....Fear is the real force behind political change,not BS promises of mutual goodwill.... Short of this pressure,this fear,especially with labor unions destroyed,there seems to be very little hope....

Strong working class and democratic labor unions have "always" been and "still" are the best avenue for ALL working class Americans to advance OUR interests...They give us a voice at the table...Corporate America has been waging an all out 'assault' against labor unions since the mid to late 70s through today.....

We now have no 'voice' at the table,no 'muscle' in the room to put our FIST down and make demands.....When will we as the "working class",forget our fears,put our fist down,and say........ENOUGH?????

Yes it is a lot of typing… and time consuming too seeing I’m a one finger typist.

I know exactly what you mean about the vaccines. Right now… sure they’re voluntary and that’s because they think they have most people scared enough to take it on their own free will but if they see there aren’t enough people volunteering to get it… they will then start making it a requirement for such things like traveling by air which they are even now talking about starting next year. Then it will be making a requirement for certain jobs and so on until they reach the figure their goal.

As far as the taxpayer picking up the tab… I believe that wholeheartedly because that’s a given when it comes to any of the government’s endeavors.

And as far as the far left idiots and their socialism is concerned… IMO… they would jump right to communism if they could but the deceitful moderate left is at least smart enough to know that most Americans won’t accept that at all this day and age so they want to use it as a stepping stone and gradually ease to communism. The way I figure it… give the schools and colleges another decade to brainwash the youth along with many of older citizens who pass away in that same time period… the nation will be ripe for the picking.

I could be wrong but I recall that everyone made fun of the liberals back when I was young… but today… it seems to me that their running the country and the conservatives are considered nothing but racists and deplorables which should be hated and ostracized. From the Woodstock to Washington in 50 years so I guess the term flower child is no longer applicable… no wonder I haven’t heard it mentioned in decades and the work ethic has gone to hell.
