Tucker Carlson Questions Sham 1/6 Committee’s Sudden Acknowledgement and Defense of Ray Epps: “It’s Clear the DOJ Had a Role in Jan 6th”

After an absolutely explosive day of Senate testimony on Capitol Hill, Tucker Carlson came out on his nightly show and delivered a knockout blow to the corrupt DC Swamp, slamming the DOJ for its “clear role” in the January 6th “Fedsurrection” and calling out Pelosi’s sham 1/6 commission for their sudden defense of suspected-Fed and notorious 1/6 catalyst Ray Epps

“It’s been clear for a while now that the department of justice probably had some role in the events of January 6th – it’s obvious. And after hearings on Capitol Hill today it became even clearer.”

During his latest must-watch segment, Carlson highlighted Senator Ted Cruz’s pointed exchange with FBI National Security Branch Executive Assistant Director Jill Sanborn, blasting her for refusing to answer several simple, straightforward questions about the Government’s involvement in 1/6.

The shocking lack of answers all but served as a confirmation that federal agents were actively participating in the events on 1/6.

Sanborn cannot even answer Cruz when he asks point-blank if any Federal agents “committed any crimes of violence,” which – as Carlson correctly points out – is something that should be easily deniable.

Her weak answer was just not good enough, and according to Carlson, Sanborn should be forced to answer the question immediately.

“Cruz asked, quote: ‘did any FBI agents or FBI informants commit crimes of violence on January 6th?’ The obvious answer is ‘are you kidding? Come on now, of course the FBI isn’t secretly committing crimes of violence – that’s insane! we are a federal law enforcement agency, we’re not the Tonton Macoute. Next question please.’

That’s what Jill Sanborn should have said, but that’s not what she said. instead she replied, quote: ‘I can’t answer that.’

But of Course Jill Sanborn can answer that – and she should be forced to answer that immediately – no sources or methods would be revealed, just answer the question – did they participate in violence or not? why is that hard?

It tells you alot.”

After calling out Sanborn, Carlson also torched Assistant US Attorney General Matt Olson for his equally pathetic testimony from earlier in the day. Despite acknowledging Ray Epps’ existence, Olson refused to provide any information whatsoever about him when he was being questioned by Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR).

“I simply don’t have any information at all about that individual,” Olson responded.

Once again, not nearly a good enough answer for Carlson, who sarcastically added, “They really expect you to believe that. So, the DOJ knows nothing about Ray Epps – the guy on the most wanted list – Right…”

Almost immediately after the trainwreck Senate hearings, the corrupt 1/6 commission shamelessly attempted to run damage control by tweeting out an odd acknowledgment of Ray Epps that claimed they had interviewed the suspected-fed back in November 2021.


But, if the Democrats had already interviewed this guy and cleared him of all suspicions, then why in the heck would they wait this long to announce it? and conveniently on the day when two top law enforcement officials were forced to address Epps for the first time under oath?

Something’s not adding up here. As Carlson points out, there are several questions that now need an answer.

“That’s absurdly false, and as if to underscore how absurdly false it is, within a short time [after the testimony] Democrats on the January 6th committee released a statement claiming that – actually – they had already interviewed Ray Epps, and anyone who still has questions about his behavior on January 5th or 6th is a dangerous conspiracy theorist.

When exactly, and under what circumstances did the committee talk to Ray Epps? Supposedly this interview was conducted in secret this last November. If that is true – we don’t know that it is, but let’s say that it is – Then why did the committee wait months to tell us today in a tweet? When the committee got its hands on Mark Meadows’ text messages, we seem to remember they leaked those to the media within hours.

And by the way was this Ray Epps interview conducted under oath? Did Democrats subpoena his electronic communications, as they did with Meadows and so many others? Will the information that Epps revealed to the committee be made availible to the January 6th defendants who are now awaiting trial? Can their lawyers see a transscript of this interview? – Can we see a transcript of this interview?

If not, why not?”

What’s so odd about the Democrat’s acknowledgment of Epps is that they have completely flipped the script when describing his actions on 1/6, with cry-baby RINO Rep. Adam Kinzinger even calling him ‘just a protest attendee’ earlier today.

That’s some glowing PR for a man who led the charge into the Capitol grounds, sparking the ‘worst insurrection in US history.’

In a stunning flip-flop, Democrats have changed their tune completely, going from not even acknowledging Epps’ existence – to downright protecting him against their own narrative in just 24 short hours.

As Cheney stood at the podium, her husband Philip Perry’s law firm was cashing in on legal and lobbying work that his employer — Latham & Watkins (LW), one of the largest law firms in the world — was doing for a host of Chinese companies, some of which were involved in the kind of activity that Cheney was warning had to be stopped.

All of LW’s work discussed in this article was legal, and Perry didn’t work directly on these accounts. But as a partner at the firm, he benefits and profits from all its work.

Perry’s firm’s work for Chinese entities and countries whose human rights abuses and authoritarian rule have troubled the U.S. for years seems to conflict with his wife’s frequent calls for America to stand up to autocratic regimes like China. The dynamic is one familiar to longtime observers of Washington, D.C.: a power couple calling out the very behavior from which they benefit.

What Solomon did not mention in his article, because we didn’t know this till yesterday, is that Cheney’s husband’s firm is also connected to individuals involved in the spying on President Trump in the White House. Techno Fog reports:

As you might recall, Sussmann was charged with giving false statements to then-FBI General Counsel James Baker regarding the interests he was representing in pushing to the FBI the Alfa Bank/Trump Organization hoax. The basis for the latest motion is that Sussmann’s current counsel, Latham & Watkins LLP (Latham) might have a conflict of interest because Latham previously represented Perkins Coie and Mark Elias “in this investigation.” It is alleged that Latham “likely possesses confidential knowledge about Perkins Coie’s role in, and views concerning, Sussmann’s past activities.” (Cleaned up.)
There might also be a conflict because Latham was representing both the Clinton Campaign and Hillary for America in the Special Counsel’s investigation. Durham observes that Latham’s duties to these former clients “might cause its interests to diverge from those of [Sussmann].”

Latham & Watkins LLP is a huge firm claiming 6,000 lawyers speaking 60 languages. So Mr. Perry may not be working with the companies connected with the Chinese military or the attorneys involved in the spying on President Trump. But what a coincidence?

What really is the reason Liz Cheney hates President Trump so much? Is it because he’s pointing out that she is covering up the real sedition in the US, the 2020 Election steal? Or is it because he successfully put China in its place and that impacts profits for some Americans?

"No Valid Reason" To Withhold More Than 14,000 Hours Of 'Jan. 6' Video: Defense Attorney

The defense attorney for a member of the Oath Keepers charged with seditious conspiracy stemming from the U.S. Capitol unrest on Jan. 6, 2021, has filed a motion to intervene in a lawsuit that seeks to compel the U.S. Capitol Police to release more than 14,000 hours of video from surveillance cameras, smart phones and police body-worn cameras. Jonathon Moseley, who represents Oath Keeper Kelly Meggs of Dunnellon, Florida, seeks to intervene in Judicial Watch Inc. v. U.S. Capitol Police, a 2021 lawsuit that aims to unmask most of the Jan. 6 video footage now hidden from the public by court seal. “Having seen the documents and records under the court’s protective order, Jonathon Moseley can testify and affirm, and hereby does so, that there is no valid reason for the documents and records to be withheld from the public,” Moseley wrote in a Feb. 11 motion in U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.



U.S. District Judge Florence Y. Pan denied Moseley’s motion to intervene, ruling he did not make sufficient effort to determine how Judicial Watch and U.S. Capitol Police viewed his motion. “The movants do not have a conditional right to intervene under a federal statute, nor do they state a claim or defense that shares with the main action a common question of law or fact,” Pan wrote. The U.S. Congress is exempt from the Freedom of Information Act. The U.S. Capitol Police, as a subsidiary of Congress, isn’t bound by the 1966 law that generally requires the federal government to disclose records and other information to the public upon request. Judicial Watch sued Capitol Police in January 2021 under the common-law right of access, a legal principle that the public has a right to access public records and documents. Judicial Watch sued for the release of all video recorded between noon and 9 p.m. on Jan. 6, 2021, and for emails between the U.S. Capitol Police executive team and the police board, as well as emails between police and the FBI, U.S. Department of Justice, and the Department of Homeland Security.

Capitol Police filed a motion claiming it isn’t bound to release records due to sovereign immunity, a legal doctrine that shields governments from being sued for civil wrongs. Despite the Capitol Police’s stated concerns that releasing the trove of video would expose security means and methods, Moseley said he sees a different reason for the secrecy. “They don’t want the public to see that the vast majority of what went on was very peaceful,” Moseley told The Epoch Times. “There were the violent videos they’ve shown, are all in just one location, or in a courtyard. You know, they keep showing over and over again this battle in the archway—that’s just one entrance out of a building that’s 700 feet long. So I think it would dilute their narrative to show everything.” Moseley said that on a recent tour of the Capitol arranged by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia, Capitol Police forbade the defense attorneys and investigators from photographing certain areas, including things that are visible from the street. They also prohibited photographs of the galleries in the House of Representatives. “They designated that as non public—we couldn’t take photographs of the galleries,” Moseley said. “I’m like, ‘What the heck?’ These will be visible during the State of the Union to anybody around the world. “So that’s one of the big things, their claim that this would compromise the Capitol’s security to show these things.” Moseley said. “It’s one of the things that I wanted to knock down and say, ‘You can’t hide behind that as an excuse.’”



Moseley expressed frustration that the government’s selective release of video clips and the nearly constant condemnations of Jan. 6 defendants by some jurists and members of Congress have tainted the jury pool for the trials scheduled to begin in the coming weeks and months. He said he will seek a change of venue for the Meggs case. “There’s been nonstop condemnation of these defendants by the attorney general, by other judges as they’ve been sentencing people,” Moseley said. “They’ve made comments that go far beyond the individual that they’re talking about, made generalized condemnations of all the defendants, most of whom haven’t gone to trial yet. “There’s also the concern that the ability to pick and choose what’s released prevents a check and balance on the government and the Congress,” Moseley said. “If they knew everything was public, they might be a little more careful with what they say.”

The jury pool in the District of Columbia has been “incurably influenced,” Moseley wrote in his motion to intervene in the Judicial Watch case. “Kelly Meggs as a criminal defendant is being personally prejudiced by the one-sided tsunami of false but prejudicial information,” Moseley wrote, “while the government—including the U.S. Capitol Police—pick and choose what information with which to smear these defendants in public and condemn them in public, while withholding an equal measure of exculpatory information.” In a filing in the Judicial Watch case, Thomas DiBiase, general counsel for U.S. Capitol Police, said the release of video footage could provide valuable security information to people who might seek to attack the Capitol again. Video can also be considered security information that is “sensitive with respect to the policing, protection, physical security, intelligence, counter-terrorism actions or emergency preparedness.” Of the more than 14,000 hours of footage, only about 17 hours to date was designated “security information,” DiBiase said.
