        ‘I’m in Trouble’ — Joe Biden Loses Mask After Outdoor Campaign Speech



        President Joe Biden lost his mask during an outdoor drive-in car rally with supporters in Georgia on Thursday.

        Biden wore his mask up to the podium and kept it on throughout first lady Jill Biden’s introductory remarks.
        After hugging the first lady, the president removed his mask to deliver his remarks. He coughed and cleared his throat throughout his speech, which lasted about 20 minutes.

        At the end of his speech, Biden invited Democrat Sens. Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff, who were watching the speech in the back, to join him on stage.

        The first lady pointed at her mask and reminded the president to put on his own mask, but he could not find it.

        Biden repeatedly flipped through his folder of notes but the mask did not appear.

        I’m looking for my mask. I’m in trouble,” Biden apologized to the crowd.

        An aide ran up on stage to hand the president a new mask, but Biden ultimately discovered his old one in his pocket, which he dutifully put on as he stood with Warnock and Ossoff.

        The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention updated mask rules for Americans on Tuesday, allowing vaccinated people to remove their masks when outdoors.

        But the president and the first lady wore masks during all of their events on their trip to Georgia, even when walking outside between flights and at the campaign rally.

          List: 100 Biden failures in 100 days, ‘America First’ to ‘America last’

          When President Joe Biden steps to the microphone in the House chamber on Wednesday night for his first joint session address, his focus will be on what he feels he’s achieved, such as slowing the coronavirus spread, in his nearly first 100 days and his plans to build on that success. And rightly so.

          But for half of that chamber, the focus will be on his unexpected skip to the left, his failure to make any attempt at the national unity he promised, his tax-and-spend agenda, and the catastrophe at the U.S.-Mexico border.

          “He promised unity but has delivered partisanship. He failed to fully reopen schools for America’s public school students but has opened our borders to illegal immigrants. He has killed thousands of American jobs through crushing regulations while reviving the radical Green New Deal and other extreme climate policies,” said Rep. James Comer, the Kentucky Republican and ranking member on the House Committee on Oversight and Reform.

          “Simply put, we’ve gone from ‘America First’ to ‘America Last’ under President Biden,” said Comer, who has targeted at least seven Biden initiatives for investigations.

          To back up that claim, Comer’s team has drawn up a list of Biden’s missteps and failures in the new president’s first three months, heavy on the border flubs.

          “President Biden’s first 100 days have been marked by 100 failures,” he said.

              In March, just two months after President Trump left office Ford announced plans to move a major manufacturing plant to Mexico.


              On Thursday, the day after Biden promised electric vehicles would be made in America, GM moved its $1 billion electric vehicle plant to Mexico.

              Less than one day after President Biden proclaimed American workers would build the electric vehicles necessary to bring us into the zero admissions future, General Motors said it plans to invest more than $1 billion in Mexico to produce electric vehicles.

              The automaker said Thursday it would make a $1 billion investment in its Ramos Arizpe production facility. The plant will begin producing at least one electric vehicle beginning in 2023, the company said.

              The company did not disclose which vehicles would be produced at the plant or where they would be sold. But the plant currently produces parts and vehicles, including the Chevrolet Equinox and Chevrolet Blazer, that are sold in the U.S. and globally.

                Advocacy Group Gives Biden ‘F’ for First 100 Days on All 4 Pillars of its Declaration of Energy Independence

                The Empowerment Alliance (TEA), a 501 C-4 that advocates for free markets and domestic energy independence, released a report card on President Joe Biden’s energy policies in his first 100 days in office, giving him an “F” for each of the four pillars of its Declaration of Energy Independence.

                The group said in a statement distributed to media:

                Unfortunately, our nation’s energy and climate picture couldn’t be cloudier after Biden’s first 100 days in office. The new administration’s policy decisions and public statements take a decidedly anti-energy turn. Instead of unleashing the potential of our domestic energy industry, the Biden administration walled it off and locked it down.

                The first pillar is policies that provide Americans with affordable energy:

                On his first day in office, Joe Biden revoked the Keystone XL Pipeline permit. This carbon neutral project planned to carry roughly 800,000 barrels of oil a day from Alberta to Texas. The project would have created tens of thousands of jobs and billions in earnings. By cancelling the pipeline, Biden derailed cheaper energy, killed more jobs, and ended a cleaner alternative to what will happen now: All that oil will be moved by train and trucks – a more expensive, more environmentally harmful way to go.

                The second pillar is clean energy to benefit the environment:

                Killing the Keystone XL Pipeline actually increased the carbon footprint of the gas and oil moving through the system. If you could give a grade of less than “F,” the Biden Administration would qualify for it. the press release said. “Their war on energy, particularly natural gas, undermines the cleanest most abundant fuel available to power the electrical grid. For now and the foreseeable future, the United States will continue to rely on gas as a base fuel. Any effort to restrict or undermine that should be measured with a critical eye and given a failing grade.

                Pillar three is providing abundant energy for the future:

                America has a nearly 100-year supply of natural gas. This is a vast resource that could virtually guarantee prosperity, but several recent actions by the Biden administration make it clear that they would rather lock that resource underground and unused. The Biden campaign repeatedly and publicly professed that they would not ban fracking. But in February when a regional commission voted to ban fracking in their region of the Marcellus Shale field, Biden’s US Army Corp of Engineers abstained from voting, allowing the ban to stand.

                The group noted that energy companies have routinely leased land from the federal government to explore for oil and gas production.

                “These leases allow the companies to find and produce more energy, but also funded hundreds of local programs that benefit the communities in which they reside, a good deal for everybody,” the release said. “Freezing those leases is a slap in the face to America’s abundance.”
                Pillar four is about global leadership and national security:

                “By protecting our resources and using them as leverage, our country can retain our world energy leadership. But the Biden administration is attempting to choke that engine and put us at the mercy of our competitors.”

                By reentering the Paris Accord Agreement, they may have scored points with our European allies, but our adversaries in China and Russia are having a field day. They are enjoying unilateral disarmament by America, where we have again signed up for more than a hundred new regulations hobbling our competitiveness worldwide. Analysis shows it could cost 1.1 million jobs by 2025 and 6.5 million by 2040.

                The group’s website encourages people to sign its declaration, which it hopes will:

                …harness the power of American ingenuity, the tenets of our free market system, and the abundance of our nation’s natural gas supply to forge a more realistic, rational, and effective approach to energy consumption and environmental conservation than the risky tax scheme known as the ‘Green New Deal.’

                TEA’s website said it wants to “re-establish the United States as a global energy superpower.”

And the sad losers who did show up were all early-vaxxed and double-masked. Their mothers should have made them all wear helmets. At least you cannot say it was a terribly partisan affair. Democrats and Republicans alike were joined in the profound desire to drift off to sleep. Even House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, one of the world’s reigning experts at pretending to be awake, blinked back the suffocating tedium.Maybe it was her unnecessary mask.

                      Serious question: What does it tell you that these morons willingly cut oxygen flow to their own brains — yet don’t sound any dumber than when they did back when they still breathed freely?                         North Korea Says Joe Biden Made “Big Blunder” and Insulted Kim Jong Un – Threatens “Corresponding Actions”

                        North Korea on Sunday said that Joe Biden made a “big blunder” after he insulted Pyongyang’s nuclear program during his joint address to Congress and threatened “corresponding actions.”

                        Yonhap News Agency reported that Pyongyang said the US is preparing for an all-out showdown with the DPRK (Democratic People’s Republic of Korea).

                        “The DPRK Foreign Ministry vehemently denounces the provocation from the U.S. as a vivid manifestation of the hostile policy toward the DPRK to tarnish its image and as a crude violation of its state sovereignty,” it said.

                        North Korea warned that the U.S. will “surely and certainly regret for acting lightly, defying our warnings.”

                        Yonhap reported:

                        North Korea said Sunday that U.S. President Joe Biden made a “big blunder” after he called Pyongyang’s nuclear program a serious threat, warning the U.S. will face a “worse and worse crisis beyond control.”

                        Kwon Jong-gun, director general of the Department of U.S. Affairs of the Foreign Ministry, made the remarks after Biden pledged in his first congressional address last week to work with allies to address “serious threats” from the North and Iran through diplomacy and stern deterrence.

                        “It is certain that the U.S. chief executive made a big blunder in the light of the present-day viewpoint,” Kwon said. “Now that what the keynote of the U.S. new DPRK policy has become clear, we will be compelled to press for corresponding measures, and with time the U.S.”

                        The official also said that the U.S. “will face worse and worse crisis beyond control in the near future if it is set to approach the DPRK-U.S. ties, still holding on the outdated policy from Cold War-minded perspective and viewpoint.”

                        “Diplomacy” and “stern deterrence,” which Biden pleged to used to address threats from the North, are “a spurious signboard for covering up its hostile acts” and “a means for posing nuclear threats” to the North, respectively, the official said.

                            State Dept. Denies Any Deal With Iran for Prisoner Release

                            The United States on Sunday denied a report by Iran's state television that the arch-foes had reached a prisoner swap deal in exchange for the release of $7 billion frozen Iranian oil funds under U.S. sanctions in other countries.
                            Iranian state television said on Sunday that Tehran would free four Americans accused of spying in exchange for four Iranians held in the United States and the release of $7 billion in frozen Iranian funds.

                            The U.S. government denied that an exchange was in the works.

                            The state TV, quoting an unnamed Iranian official, also said British-Iranian national Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe would be released once Britain had paid off a debt on military equipment owed to Tehran.

                            A British Foreign Office official played down that report.

                            Iran and world powers are holding talks to revive the 2015 nuclear accord that Washington abandoned three years ago and reimposed sanctions on Tehran.

                            Iranian officials told Reuters last month that an interim deal could be a way to gain time for a lasting settlement that involved unfreezing Iranian funds blocked under U.S. sanctions.

                            "Informed source says Biden administration has agreed to release four Iranian prisoners jailed for bypassing U.S. sanctions in exchange for four American 'spies'," the Iranian state TV report said on Sunday.

                            "Release of Nazanin Zaghari in exchange for UK's payment of its 400 million pound debt to Iran has also been finalized. The source also said the Biden administration has agreed to pay Iran $7 billion," it said.

                            In Washington, State Department spokesman Ned Price said: "Reports that a prisoner swap deal has been reached are not true."

                            "As we have said, we always raise the cases of Americans detained or missing in Iran. We will not stop until we are able to reunite them with their families."

                            Ron Klain, White House chief of staff, also denied the report. "Unfortunately, that report is untrue. There is no agreement to release these four Americans," Klain said on CBS "Face the Nation."

                            Tehran and the powers have been meeting in Vienna since early April to work on steps that must be taken, touching on U.S. sanctions and Iran's alleged breaches of the 2015 deal, to bring Tehran and Washington back into full compliance with the accord.

                            Iran says $20 billion of its oil revenue has been frozen in countries like South Korea, Iraq and China under the U.S. sanctions since 2018.

                            U.S. national security adviser Jake Sullivan, speaking on ABC's "This Week" on Sunday, said no deal had been reached with Iran in Vienna.

                            "There is still a fair distance to travel to close the remaining gaps," he said. "And those gaps are over what sanctions the United States and other countries will roll back. They are over what nuclear restrictions Iran will accept on its program to ensure that they can never get a nuclear weapon."

                            ZAGHARI-RATCLIFFE

                            On the Zaghari-Ratcliffe case, British foreign minister Dominic Raab told Times Radio earlier on Sunday : "We recognize the IMS debt should be repaid and we're looking at arrangements for securing that."

                            A Foreign Office official later played down the speculation on her release.

                            Zaghari-Ratcliffe, a project manager with the Thomson Reuters Foundation charity, was freed from house arrest in March at the end of a sentence for seeking to overthrow Iran's government.

                            An Iranian court sentenced her last month to another year in jail, weeks after she finished the prior five-year sentence, a decision Britain called "inhumane."
                            She was arrested at Tehran airport in April 2016 and later convicted of plotting to overthrow the clerical establishment.

                            Her family and the foundation, a charity that operates independently of media firm Thomson Reuters and its news subsidiary Reuters, deny all charges against her and say she was only visiting relatives in Iran.
