That is a simple question as the one in the late 90's with Bill Clinton getting impeached over the sex scandal .. In the 90's if Clinton was removed we would have had a President Gore.. today the same thing hangs over the country,if Biden is removed we would have a President Harris for which no one wants other than her family .. but then they might want to remove her also and then bam, a Madame President Pelozi?? I would think Pelozi has already thought about this possibility..

The Taliban is also taking advantage of the ample supply of now disbanded Afghan national army uniforms, also of course previously supplied at the expense of US taxpayers.More photos and video footage have confirmed of late that the Islamists of the internationally recognized terror organization are increasingly going around while uniformed... There's footage that even shows a newly unveiled "Taliban Special Forces Unit"... And yes they are outfitted with night vision googles and advanced sighting technology on their American-made rifles.



One Fox News pundit quipped this weekend over the disastrous events of the past week: Joe Biden gave the Taliban military weapons. Not "military style" or "assault weapons" he gave them select fire rifles, drones, up armored vehicles and an assortment of munitions. Meanwhile, apparently the Taliban are already preparing for winter 'Arctic warfare' type training, which is something typically only the world's most advanced militaries are equipped for. And there's little doubt that the Taliban is still trying to figure out how to get those Black Hawks airborne.

The military newspaper Marine Corps Times has picked up on a disturbing image: "The Taliban’s media wing has wasted little time releasing droves of new propaganda in the wake of its ascension to power," the official DoD publication writes. "In one particular image released this week, members of the Taliban’s Badri 313 Battalion appear to mock Joe Rosenthal’s iconic 1945 image of the flag raising atop Mount Suribachi during the Battle of Iwo Jima," the report describes.



Many American journalists and media pundits - especially US military veterans - are calling it the "ultimate insult" as well as "humiliating" - also while lamenting the utterly botched final days of the US presence in Afghanistan, given further the disastrous evacuation efforts of the past week.

Bin Laden warned in 2010 letter that Biden would ‘lead US into crisis’

Osama bin Laden once warned al Qaeda not to target Joe Biden because he believed that his inheriting the presidency if something were to happen to Barack Obama would “lead the US into a crisis,” a resurfaced letter shows. In the letter dated May 2010, the al Qaeda 9/11 mastermind wrote he had no assassination plots against Biden because he deemed him “totally unprepared” to lead the United States. Instead, bin Laden urged his followers to be on the lookout for then-President Obama.

He told them there was a high priority to target aircrafts belonging to Obama and then-CIA director David Petraeus. “They are not to target visits by US Vice President Biden. The groups will remain on the lookout for Obama or Petraeus,” bin Laden wrote. “The reason for concentrating on them is that Obama is the head of infidelity and killing him automatically will make Biden take over the presidency for the remainder of the term, as it is the norm over there. “Biden is totally unprepared for that post, which will lead the US into a crisis. “As for Petraeus, he is the man of the house in this last year of the war, and killing him would alter the war’s path.”

The letter was uncovered in a treasure-trove of documents found in the terrorist’s Pakistan hideout after he was killed by US forces in a raid on May 2, 2011. The documents, penned between 2006 and 2011, are publicly available through West Point’s Combating Terrorism Center. Bid Laden’s criticism of Biden has resurfaced amid the botched withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan and the Taliban takeover.

US drone strike killed 'ISIS-K planner' in Afghanistan, Pentagon says

The Pentagon says the "target" was killed in the attack

The United States military has carried out a drone strike against an alleged ISIS-K "planner" following a suicide bombing in Kabul that killed 13 American soldiers and at least 70 Afghans.

"U.S. military forces conducted an over-the-horizon counterterrorism operation today against an ISIS-K planner," U.S. Central Command Spokesman Captain Bill Urban told Fox News on Friday. "The unmanned airstrike occurred in the Nangarhar Province of Afghanistan. Initial indications are that we killed the target. We know of no civilian casualties."

Fox News has confirmed that the drone hit a vehicle carrying an ISIS-K leader who was believed to be "carrying out future attacks."

It's not clear if the planner was involved in the suicide attack at the Kabul airport Thursday, which killed 13 U.S. service members and wounded 20 others.

The ISIS-K planner was also traveling with an "associate," Fox News understands.

The drone strike took place a few hours ago near the border with Pakistan, the official said.

The strike comes the day after a suicide bombing, for which ISIS-K claimed responsibility, rocked the outside perimeter of the Kabul airport to which thousands of Americans and Afghans have been flocking in order to evacuate Afghanistan.

President Biden is being attacked from all sides after the deaths of at least 13 American service members Thursday in an ISIS-K terrorist bombing at the Kabul airport, with calls for his impeachment and resignation from some.

The political crisis for Biden follows a foreign policy crisis in Afghanistan after the Taliban swept into power as American troops withdrew from the country on Biden's orders. Even Democrats are criticizing the president's actions. Prior to yesterday's bombings, images out of Afghanistan contributed to plunging approval ratings for the president.

"Although it is clear to me that we could not continue to put American servicemembers in danger for an unwinnable war, I also believe that the evacuation process appears to have been egregiously mishandled," Rep. Susan Wild, D-Pa., tweeted Thursday. "In order to move forward, we need answers and accountability regarding the cascading failures that led us to this moment."

Critics argue Biden should have left some troops in Afghanistan to keep the brutal Taliban regime from coming into power, or that he should have more strategically handled the drawdown to prevent frantic and deadly evacuations. The White House counters that the withdrawal would be messy no matter what and that the airlift out of the country has saved many lives. According to the White House, 12,500 people were evacuated from Kabul between 3 a.m. Thursday and 3 a.m. Friday, including 8,500 on U.S. military flights.

Carbon-neutral by 2060? China Set to Build 43 More Coal-fired Power Plants

A Helsinki-based research group is reporting that Communist China is set to build another 43 coal-fired power plants along with 18 new blast furnaces as part of its newest five-year-plan. These new projects have all been announced in the first half of 2021.The report, produced by the Center for Research on Energy and Clean Air (CREA) along with the U.S. group Global Energy Monitor (GEM), was released just scant days after the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change released its Sixth Assessment Report on the current state of the climate, which General Secretary of the UN António Guterres called a “code red for humanity.” The new greenhouse-gas emitting projects are in line with the country’s latest five-year-plan, which calls for hundreds of such plants to be built between 2021 and 2025. Oddly enough, the new plants are also in line with China’s pledge to the Paris Climate Agreement, which states only that the country will reach peak emissions by 2030.

Last September, General Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party Xi Jinping pledged that China would reach carbon neutrality by 2060. The climate pledges China has made seem to be at cross purposes with the building of the coal-fired plants and blast furnaces.In China, it would seem, economic progress is still allowed to trump environmentalism. “There is this desire in the Chinese political and economic system to keep on building, to continue the infrastructure fever,” said Li Shuo, a Greenpeace advisor based in Beijing. Both CREA and GEM reported in February that “In 2020, China built over three times as much new coal power capacity as all other countries in the world combined — the equivalent of more than one large coal plant per week.” Climate alarmists consider coal the dirtiest of the fossil fuels and claim that the carbonized plant matter is responsible for more than 0.3ºC of the supposed 1ºC increase in global temperatures.

The CREA report reveals that the 43 new coal-fired plants and blast furnaces will add some 150 million metric tons to China’s CO2 emissions. That 150 million tons is roughly half of the U.K.’s total emissions. Despite the grim news about the new coal-fired plants and blast furnaces, the authors of the report are also attempting to make China look like a good guy in terms of its climate policy. “CO2 emissions growth in China slowed down in the second quarter, indicating that the rapid emissions growth seen since the end of the COVID-19 lockdown in early 2020 could be coming to an end,” the report states. “The slowdown reflects recent steps the government has taken to control financial excesses and runaway steel production, including tightening credit to the construction sector and instituting controls on industrial output.”

According to one of the report’s authors, the Chinese government deserves credit for slowing their pace of expansion. “I think that it’s clear that there’s already a shift from the runaway expansion of all kinds of industry and construction that we’ve seen for the past year and a bit to trying to at least moderate the pace,” said Lauri Myllyvirta, a lead analyst for the CREA. Myllyvirta believes the new coal-fired plants will tell the story. “These [new coal-fired plants] will test whether it’s still acceptable to keep building these things.” Isn’t it already unacceptable to keep building “these things.” Isn’t that what the UN IPCC is telling us with its new alarmist report — that “code red for humanity?”

If the United States or the European Union or any other country in the world was in the process of building 43 new coal-fired power plants and 18 new blast furnaces, it would be front-page headline news for weeks. Said country would be pilloried for contributing to the destruction of the planet and ostracized by the media.When Communist China does it, the only thing that happens is a mention in a hard-to-find research paper.
