The promises that were never kept.
The lies became so frequent that the cult members can't distinguish truth and facts from all his fabrications and distortions.

Preview: How Trump turned his back on workers
It’s no secret that many union members voted for Donald Trump in 2016 with hopes that he would live up to his promises to support workers and “drain the swamp.”
What he’s done has been just the opposite, turning his back on workers with executive orders and the appointment of union busting attorneys to the Department of Labor and the National Labor Relations Board, and putting his cronies in charge of federal agencies so they can push their "wealth for the 1%" agenda on the rest of us.
The Economic Policy Institute (EPI) recently compiled an extensive report outlining the Trump administration’s 50 most egregious attacks on working people.
Attacking workers’ wages, preventing millions of workers from receiving overtime by lowering the overtime threshold, proposing a rule to allow employers to capture workers’ tips, costing workers more than $700 million annually, and blocking a minimum wage increase.

Failing to protect workers’ health during the pandemic. OSHA under Trump has failed to enforce the Occupational Safety and Health Act or issue any rules to protect workers from the virus.

Undermining workers’ collective bargaining rights, including obstructing workers’ rights to fair union elections.

Putting forward anti-worker nominees and appointees to the U.S. Supreme Court, Department of Labor and National Labor Relations Board.
“President Trump claimed he would fight for workers, but his actions and policies have cost workers wages, undermined their right to organize unions, and failed to protect their health and safety on the job,” said Lynn Rhinehart, EPI’s senior fellow and co-author of the report. “This report shows the real record and exposes Trump’s repeated attacks on workers.”

The Governor of Puerto Rico Wanda Vázquez Garced has officially endorsed President Trump for the 2020 election.
This is really bad news for Democrats. They love to attack President Trump over his response to Hurricane Maria and claim that Puerto Ricans don’t like him.

However, once again what the Mainstream Media says and the reality don’t match up.

Will the Mainstream Media cover this as much as the anti-Trump San Juan mayor.

A stark warning from the AFL-CIO. Support for the current President has faded with only a handful of police and border patrol unions behind his violent rhetoric.

U.S. unions warn Trump: Don’t even think about it
The federation “categorically rejects all threats to the peaceful transition of power” said Richard Trumka, a former leader of the mine workers union. “The labor movement,” he said, “simply will not allow any breach of the U.S. Constitution or other effort to deny the will of the people.”
Trumka’s comments came in response to increasingly threatening noises being made by Donald Trump in which he threatened that regardless of the results of the election on 3 November, he would not be ceding power to his opponent Joe Biden, ever.
For the moment, Trump’s support in the labor movement seems limited to unions of law enforcement officials – police and border patrol, with the occasional local union endorsement.
Trump’s threats to remain in power regardless of the election result have served to sharpen the focus for American trade unionists. Their goals, as stated by Richard Trumka, could not be clearer: first defeat Trump – and then ensure that he actually leaves office.

Fact Check: Pennsylvania Boilermakers Union Supports Trump, Not Joe Biden
CLAIM: Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden falsely claimed at an ABC News town hall event in Pittsburgh that the Boilermakers union in Pennsylvania has endorsed him against President Trump.

VERDICT: FALSE. The Boilermakers Local 154 union, in a letter issued last month, endorsed Trump for re-election over Biden.
The Boilermakers Local 154 union represents more than 2,500 workers in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia.
As the United States continues to lead the world in oil and natural gas production it is imperative that we continue to battle over-regulations in the fossil fuel industries and fight for American energy production,” Boilermakers Local 154 union leader John Hughes said in a statement.

Hughes called Trump a “true friend of the Boilermakers” in his endorsement, citing how union members and their families “rely on coal-fired power generation and we strongly encourage the advancement of Carbon Capture technologies which can secure future jobs for our members.”

Did Joe confuse who supports him or Don the Con? That is entirely possible. There does seem to be serious support for Biden over tRump.
Biden has also won endorsements from most of the largest labor unions in the country over the past few weeks. These endorsements include the Teamsters union, the United Auto Workers, the United Food and Commercial Workers union, the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, the National Education Association and the American Federation of Teachers, and the Service Employees International Union.

Biden is also supported by the AFL-CIO, a body representing 55 labor unions with 12.5 million members. The AFL-CIO has endorsed the Democratic candidate in every election since 1976. AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka explained the endorsement on 26 May.

The AFL-CIO has endorsed the Democrat candidate every year since 1976 it says.......that about sums up the stagnation and decline in union growth and decline.
Maybe time for a new group leading who knows that supporting the Dems has brought us every labor problem and crisis that exists....if they knew what they were doing and actually honestly wanted to help us....they would have. Obviously they don't. They just talk and want our money and votes.

Huge increase in union density and better contracts across the board since 1976?
                        Nope.
Huge decline and increase in backtracking.
Time to change the plan. Trump has been and is the guy. Too bad they put our faith in deception.
I've always been Independent. Not a GOP. Disdain alot of their stances.
                        Just GOP for Trump.
Going backwards and voting Biden will put us right back where we were....looking for $15/HR jobs for nonunion labor...and health insurance for nonunion labor...and special deals and free stuff who come into the nation illegally like scabs....and waiting for the next TPP...to leave us all working at Wal-Mart and resterauntss. No future in Obama's ways for labor.

Rack up another court loss. This one really slaps those in need. While unemployment is up, a pandemic rages across the country, all this administration wanted to do was cut food stamps for those without work. Heartless and cruel.

Judge strikes down Trump plan to slash food stamps for 700,000 unemployed Americans
A federal judge on Sunday formally struck down a Trump administration attempt to end food stamp benefits for nearly 700,000 unemployed people, blocking as “arbitrary and capricious” the first of three such planned measures to restrict the federal food safety net.

In a 67-page opinion, Chief U.S. District Judge Beryl Howell of the District of Columbia condemned the Agriculture Department for not justifying or even addressing the impact of the sweeping change on states, saying its shortcomings had been placed in stark relief amid the coronavirus pandemic, during which unemployment has quadrupled and rosters of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program have grown by more than 17% with more than 6 million new enrollees.

                            The headline is enough.
Some have disparaged the publication, and the groups they represent, that printed this story. By telling the truth ?
Some of us feel this administration has harmed labor. Some of you don't.

50 ways Donald Trump has hurt workers and their families
When Donald Trump was first running for office in 2016, his bravado, working man posturing, and talk of “America first” had a certain appeal for workers who felt forgotten, displaced by trade deals that hurt manufacturing and cost U.S. jobs. Trump was able to tap into working people’s frustration and desire for a fresh start, but his policies have been nothing short of an attack on workers, their unions and their families. His executive orders and agency appointments have made clear that the tough talk is just a distraction; he sees workers as pawns, and their unions, as a problem to be eliminated. Before you vote on Nov. 3, take a look at where Trump really stands for workers and their families.

We’re going to have a big, beautiful new healthcare plan in two weeks.

We’re building a big, beautiful wall that Mexico will pay for.

We’re going to have a $1Trillion infrastructure plan.

A big, beautiful [fill in plan name here] is being finalized right now.

                              The check’s in the mail.

We need jobs here for a tax base for infrastructure projects. Not happening with the entrenched DC political people. They are in cahoots with the wealthy of the world. And those plans are on a path to get rid of our high labor costs and give them to the poor of the world with no rights nor regulations. You need jobs which pay taxes to cover the costs of job loss and infrastructure projects.
The rich ain't gonna pay it all.
It's a plan with no care for our workers or our nation.
It seems to be on the route to total bankruptcy.

Looks pretty clear to me. What do I know? I'm just a truck driver.
They came up with social tax funded programs when manufacturing could foot the bill. Manufacturing is gone.
Can't pay the bills with no good jobs to pay them.
