Retired four-star Gen. Stanley McChrystal has endorsed Joe Biden for the White House, citing his time working with the former vice president under the Obama administration and saying the Democratic nominee is "someone that you can trust."

McChrystal, speaking on MSNBC Thursday morning, said Biden “is humble enough to listen to experts, is humble enough to respect people who serve and have served.”

“I think that he would surround himself with an effective team of good people, I think he would set a tone in which he would bring out the best of people. Again, not everyone will agree with every policy, nobody ever will, and that’s healthy in a democracy. But we have to believe in our values, you have to believe that your commander in chief at the end of the day is someone that you can trust. And I can trust Joe Biden,” McChrystal added when asked if he thinks Biden would be a better commander in chief than President Trump.

IMO Trumka's statement was the culmination of the pathetic language in anything Trump claims as a victory for labor. Trump's rebranding of NAFTA for one. It's been a lie fest from the get go with Trump. Here is a perfect example of what I mean Slave.

A nice guy will burn you just as quick as a nasty guy. It still burns the same.

Biden is a career politician. 47 years.
They do whatever it takes to get you to believe in them.
He's professional. Getting elected is their goal.
He had to do alot of things alot of times to get elected. Open your mind. Look at some of the things he has said done and promised.

To say that a truck driver was drunk and killed his family on national media is not a nice thing to do. The driver had a family. No evidence or charges of drinking.
He uses it for sympathy.
Same thing when he tried to speak of No and Trump shut him down. He plays to sell himself...feelings.

I will just say that one thing that brought me to the Catholic church was their "bleeding hearts" and how the church helps so many people in so many countless ways whether a person is Catholic or not. I know, Hey isn't Biden a Catholic???

This is not just a liberal excess — it is a liberal argument. Religious liberty, in this view, reaches to the limits of your cranium. You can believe any retrograde thing you want. But you can’t act on that belief in the public square. And you can’t be a member of organizations that hold backward views and still be trusted with government jobs upholding the secular, liberal political order.

The Washington Post can’t call Barrett a “devout Catholic” without including in the same sentence that she is “fervently antiabortion.” Meanwhile, Biden touts his Catholicism — despite his support for abortion, which church teaching expressly calls a “moral evil.”

....... In an apparent criticism of Barrett’s views on abortion, Refinery 29 recently proclaimed that Barrett “hates your uterus.” No word about Biden’s hatred for uteruses even though he supports violently emptying them of human life.

Biden’s vision for manufacturing: One million U.S. workers making electric vehicles, chargers

Joe Biden envisions a clean energy factory future for U.S. workers, with a million new jobs for auto workers making electric vehicles, thousands of electrical workers making chargers for them, tax credits for firms that bring jobs back to the U.S., and big tax penalties for companies that ship U.S. jobs abroad.
That’s just fine with several industrial union leaders.
The Democratic presidential nominee went to Warren, Mich., Sept. 9 to speak to a crowd of United Auto Workers, contrasting Donald Trump’s gaudy job promises with his lousy performance, and promising to do a lot better.

By contrast, auto makers and suppliers have lost jobs under Trump, Biden said, as has the economy as a whole. The U.S. now has 4.7 million fewer jobs than when Trump took over.
The Machinists, listing factory closures that have happened under Trump, included big plants in Kansas City, St. Cloud, Minn., and Joliet, Ill.
“President Trump has broken just about every promise he’s ever made to the American worker. And he’s failed,” Biden said. “He’s failed our economy and our country.”
Even before President Trump’s failed response to COVID-19 (the coronavirus) crashed through our economy, his reckless and chaotic trade policy had thrown American manufacturing into recession. It was already contracting in 2019, before the virus arrived in the U.S., said Biden.

Biden has an expanded vision of auto workers making electric vehicles, a vision he introduced by lauding union workers in Detroit and elsewhere.
“Here in the heart of the American automobile industry, we never forget everything we owe the unions. And unions, as you’ve heard me say many times, built this country. Unions built the economy. The economic engine has driven American manufacturing dynamism. And literally in the case of the auto workers, you’re the ones that did it.”
And those workers, and more, can do it again, Biden declared, building and maintaining electric vehicles, setting up their charging stations and – in an infrastructure plan he introduced earlier – rebuilding the nation’s crumbling roads those vehicles will travel on.
Proving Biden’s point, Ford broke ground this month on a new truck plant for the F-150 at River Rouge, Mich. The trucks will all be union-built, UAW Ford Vice President Gerald Kariem said.
“We are proud today to announce for our Ford UAW members and our nation that Ford is building this new plant to assemble the truck of the future, a battery electric Ford F-150,’ he said.
